Incline Overbridge, at NGR SO 536102

II

Tram bridge over road and mill leat. Early C19. Squared rubble stone, with tooled stone voussoirs, in form of steeply inclined and long structure with tunnel arch east/west across road, circular aperture to north on east side, and three blind arches to south on west side. Carried incline of the Redbrook Tinplate Branch of the Monmouth tram road. The tram road was opened in 1812 to link Howler's Slade, Coleford and Monmouth.
