Description

Lyon Cottage is a house in a row, likely built in the 17th century and refaced in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed roughly dressed limestone with a slate roof and an ashlar stack. The building has a symmetrical, three-storey, three-bay facade with two windows. The ground floor features late 19th-century twelve-pane sash windows, while the first floor has early 19th-century sixteen-pane sash windows. The second floor includes nine-pane casements. There is a central 19th-century four-panel door with dressed stone surrounds for the windows and doorway. A gable-end stack is present. The interior has not been inspected.
