Description
Foxhead is a house located in Northleach with Eastington, likely dating from the 17th century and refaced in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a slate roof, featuring a brick stack and a 20th-century artificial stone stack. The building has a symmetrical, three-storey, three-bay facade with two windows. The ground and first floors have twelve-pane sash windows set within dressed stone surrounds that include keystones. The second floor features two-light casements with leaded panes, although some of these have been partly replaced by casements with horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance is a 19th-century four-panel front door, with the upper panels now glazed, and there is a boot scraper to the left of the door. The house also has gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
