Description

The Eye-Catcher at Camp Farm is an architectural feature likely built in the 18th century, designed to be seen from the rear of Farmington Lodge. It spans approximately 12 meters and is flanked by drystone walls on either side of the farm gate. There are a pair of pyramidal stone-built pinnacles on either side of the gate. The inner pinnacles were originally taller than the outer ones, but their tips have eroded over time.
