Description
Midsummer Cottage and Woodbine Cottage are a semi-detached house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a concrete tile roof and featuring brick stacks. It has a T-shaped plan and a four-bay, three-windowed facade. The facade is illuminated by 20th-century two-light casements and two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements on the right, which have stopped hoods. There is a 19th-century stable door located off-centre to the left, with its upper part glazed and set in a segmental-headed surround. Additionally, a two-light casement has been inserted into a blocked doorway with a segmental head on the right. The left gable end features an axial stack and flat gable-end coping with a roll-saddle on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
