Description
This is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with timber lintels and has a plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The house originally comprised two rooms. It has one storey and an attic. The front has a rough plinth which breaks forward on the right side, with a doorway positioned there. To the right of the doorway is a two-light casement window and a two-light dormer window. To the left of the doorway is a further entrance, a blocked doorway, a small casement window, and a three-light half-dormer window. The rear of the house features additional casement windows. The interior of the building remains uninspected. The house forms an L-shaped grouping with Midsummer Cottage.
