Description
East View is a detached house built in the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof, an ashlar stack, and a brick stack. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys and an attic, which is lit by two raking dormers with two-light casements. The two-windowed facade is illuminated by double-chamfered two-light stone-mullioned casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a single-storey extension on the right side. A 19th-century plank door, located far right, includes a single pane and has a concrete lintel above it. To the far left, there is another two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. The main body of the house has gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
