Description

EVENLODE EVENLODE VILLAGE SP 22 NW 4/120 Manor Farm 25.8.60 GV II Detached farmhouse. Late C17-early C18 and C19, garden front refaced c1860. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, concrete tile roof, ashlar stacks. L-shaped plan with late C18-early C19 extension rear left in relation to garden front. Symmetrical garden front. 2 storeys, 5-windowed; plate glass sashes in basket-headed frames with horns within moulded stilted-headed architraves. Central C19 plank door with light over within similar surround up 4 steps. String between ground and first floor windows. Saddleback gable-end coping with small kneelers at eaves and gable-end stacks. Interior not inspected, reputed to contain early C18 open well stair with moulded handrail and turned balusters, reused C17 panelling and cellar according to V.C.H. Worcestershire Vol. III (1913).
