Description
Grange Farm is a detached farmhouse built in the late 17th century to early 18th century, possibly in two phases, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a roof of stone slate and concrete tiles, featuring ashlar stacks. The building has a rectangular main body with a stair projection on the left and a gabled 20th-century extension that projects forward on the right.
The main body is two storeys high with an attic, which is lit by four gabled roof dormers that have two-light metal casements with horizontal glazing bars. The facade has seven bays, featuring one, two, and three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods. In the center, there is a 19th-century plank door with a stopped hood above. The gable ends of the main body have flat coping, and there are gable-end and two axial stacks with moulded capping. The interior has not been inspected.
