Description
The Curiosity Shop is a 17th-century building located on the west side of The Square. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and features a gable end facing the street. The building has three storeys and one window. The ground floor has a plain early 20th-century shop front. The first floor includes a four-light stone mullioned and transom casement window, while the gable features a three-light window without a transom. At the rear, there is a two and a half storey gable with mullioned windows. Inside, the shop has hollow chamfered joists and a segmental arched fireplace made of ashlar in the rear room.
