At the rear of No. 187 Gloucester Street is a small square building from the early 18th century. It features a coved eaves cornice, a hipped slate roof, and one stone-mullioned window. This outbuilding may have served as the tanner's office. The description is based on a previous listing from July 23, 1971, as an inspection of the building was not possible.
