Description
Riverside is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, which is now painted, and features a hipped concrete tile roof that slopes to the right. The main facade is a left return to the street and consists of a two-storey, five-window range. The first floor has five 20th-century two-light timber casements, while the ground floor has three 19th-century two-light timber casements. There are two doors on the ground floor, one with four panels and the other with six panels, both of which have the upper two panels glazed. A 20th-century glazed verandah covers four-fifths of the ground floor, and there is a small lean-to porch with a 20th-century door to the right. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have late 18th-century shutters on the ground floor windows.
