Description

The stable block at Home Farm is a late 18th-century structure that serves as stables and a cart shed with a loft above. It is built from rubble stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has an 'L' shape and is two storeys high. There are two cart bays located at the southwest angle, each with timber lintels and double doors. To the right, there is a stable door, and a small single light window is positioned halfway up a flight of 10 steps leading to the loft door, which also has a single light window to its right. All openings are fitted with timber lintels. This stable block is part of a closely-knit and well-preserved group alongside Home Farmhouse and the barn.
