Description
The stable at Old Farm House is a small structure, likely built in the late 18th century. It features thin coursed rubble stone walls with large flush quoins and a stone slate roof. On the east side, there is a stable door in the center, with a square pitch hole above it, and a two-light window to the left that has a timber lintel. A flight of ten stone steps on the left side leads up to a loft door, which includes a cat hole, and there is a louvred slit vent above. There is a probable kennel hole located below the steps on the west side. The west wall is blind and has a 20th-century corrugated iron lean-to attached.
