Description

Waterside is a detached house dating from the early 19th century, with a 20th-century addition to the rear. It is constructed of random rubble limestone, with brick rebuilt chimneys and a stone slate roof, although the rear section has artificial stone slates. The house is two storeys with an attic, and has a three-window front facade. All windows are 12-pane sashes with timber lintels. A central, parapet-gabled porch shelters the doorway, which has a six-panel fielded door. Two ridge chimneys have brick rebuilt 19th-century shafts. The front range has parapet-gabled ends, and there is an attic casement window with a timber lintel on the north end. The interior has not been inspected. The 20th-century rear wing is not considered to be of architectural significance.
