Description

Orcheton is an early to mid-19th century house in a row. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof, and has an ashlar chimney stack which has been repaired using cream-coloured brick. A painted brick extension with an artificial stone slate roof has been added to the rear. The main body of the house is rectangular, with a later extension at the rear, and a symmetrical facade with two windows. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a rear dormer, featuring a flat roof and three-light glazing bars. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes set within dressed stone surrounds. The central door is a five-panel design, with boot scrapers to either side. The interior has not been inspected.
