Description
Antelope Cottage is a detached house dating from the mid to late 18th century to the 19th century. It is built of limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins and features a roof made of stone slate and corrugated iron, along with brick stacks. The building has an 'L'-shaped plan and stands two storeys high.
On the gable end facing the main street, there are two 12-pane sash windows with keystones. The right-hand return has a 19th-century part-glazed door. There are three 20th-century two-light wood casements with timber lintels. To the left, there are two double-width openings in the range at right angles, one featuring a timber lintel and the other a segmental brick arch. Above these, there are two small single-light windows and a parapet. The cottage likely served as a coach house with accommodation for a groom. The interior has not been inspected.
