Description

The Antelope is a house in a row, dating from the early to mid-19th century, although it likely incorporates an earlier structure. An ashlar facade was added during this time, alongside The Annex and Antelope Corner, and features a stone slate roof and ashlar stacks. A slate roof also covers a rear extension.

The building is rectangular, with a mid- to late-19th century extension at the rear. The two-storey, five-windowed front has a parapet. It has twelve and sixteen-pane sash windows, each with a keystone. The front door is a fielded six-panel design with a fanlight, set back within a semi-circular surround featuring a pointed keystone, and incorporates a boot scraper within the reveal. An axial stack is present on the main body of the building. Three stacks are located on the rear extension, all with moulded cappings. At the rear, there is an open-sided decorative wrought iron ground floor verandah. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
