Description
This former stable, likely used as a granary, dates from the late 18th century and is located immediately behind Butler's Court to the north-west. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building is a single range with a lean-to on the south-west side and stands two storeys high. There are two square openings on the first floor and two below, all retaining the remains of 2-light wood mullions. The central doorway on the ground floor has a wood frame. At the north-east end, there is a flight of nine stone steps that leads up to a plain boarded granary door. As of the survey in March 1985, the stable was no longer owned by Butler's Court and appeared to be unused.
