Description
A pair of cottages, likely dating from the mid to late 17th century. They are constructed from rubble stone with quoins and have a stone slate roof, hipped to the west, with two stone stacks. The cottages form a single long range with two rear gables and a small extension to the right. There are four windows in total: three are three-light stone mullion windows in moulded frames, and one is a 20th-century three-light window with a concrete lintel located to the right of the centre. On the ground floor, there is a four-light stone mullion window at each end, and a slightly larger 20th-century three-light window with a concrete lintel to the left of the centre. A doorway is situated to the right of the centre, containing two doors: the original door on the right exhibits stone moulded jambs and a flattened arch within a plain wooden frame, while the door on the left is paired with a large, sprocketed lean-to porch, likely dating from the 19th century, with a stone slate roof.
