Description
This is a detached outbuilding, likely related to malting, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof and features the stump of an ashlar stack. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys and an attic. On the lower left, there is a plank door, and to the right, a small casement window with diamond leaded panes. A former single-width doorway on the right has been blocked and a window inserted. Above this, there is a small two-light casement window with both diamond and rectangular leaded panes. To the right of the door, there is a small window with a wooden shutter. The left gable end has two plank doors, and there are remains of a pulley over the upper door, along with an axial stack.
