Description

Wrought iron gates and railings at the north entrance to Rendcomb College were erected in the mid-1860s. They feature cast iron and wrought iron decoration, with double gates flanked by single gates and square piers made of wrought iron. The spear-headed railings curve forward on either side, and there is foliate scrollwork where the railings meet the piers. The railing to the left of the gateway extends along the roadside to the entrance of Rendcomb Manor for approximately 25 meters.
