8/162 Unidentified memorial, about 14m west of tower in churchyard of Church of St. Mary

Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Flat top, cyma recta moulded capping, plinth not visible. Heavy lyre ends to east with carved returns of acanthus pattern, and cherub head on panel. Recessed rectangular panels to each side with flanking skull and crossbones to north and flaming torches to south. West panel almost completely obliterated. Inscriptions indecipherable.
