Description
The building is a barn and attached farm buildings at Home Farm, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a concrete tile roof. The structure has a long rectangular shape and features double plank doors that are set back, along with two lean-to porches on the east side. There are also double doors on the opposite wall and lean-to porches attached to the farm buildings on both the right and left sides. The gable ends have flat coping, and a ball finial is located at the right gable end. Inside, the main body of the barn is divided into two sections: one with five bays and the other with three bays. It retains original roof trusses that include collar and tie beams, along with triple butt purlins and two pairs of straight braces.
