Description

Hollymount is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is located on the west side of High Street in Mickleton. The house is constructed of Flemish bond brick on an ashlar limestone plinth with a moulded top, at the front. It has rusticated limestone quoins, window lintels and sills. The roof is grey slate with a rectangular brick stack rising from the eaves on both the right and left sides. The property has two storeys and a cellar beneath. The front facade features three windows, each with a 16-pane sash. A central front door is accessed by six stone steps. The door is six-panelled, with fielded panels, and has a fanlight above. An early 20th-century door surround with a triangular-headed hood is positioned above the door. A 20th-century extension to the rear right is not of listed quality.
