Description
No. 24 Gumstool Hill is a late 17th to early 18th century house situated within a terrace. It is constructed of painted rubble stone with a Cotswold stone roof, half-hipped in the centre and with tile roofing to the sides. A brick stack is located on the right. The house is a single range with additional outbuildings to the rear, adjacent to the Malthouse. It has two storeys and an attic. The front elevation features two windows on each floor, both with renewed 2-light leaded wooden casements. A central door, featuring six flush panels, is recessed and accessed by a wide, L-shaped flight of six steps (three and three). Two gabled dormers sit immediately above the eaves, each with twin casements matching the other windows.
