Description
This is an early 18th-century house forming part of a terrace on Gumstool Hill. The construction is of rubble stone with prominent dressed stone quoins and lintels incorporating keystones over the windows. The right side features long and short quoins and is partially rendered. The roof is covered in Cotswold stone slates, with an ashlar and brick stack to the right.
The house is a single range of three storeys, originally with three windows, although the central window has since been blocked. The first floor features 16-pane sash windows set under bearing arches. A carriage arch is present on the left side, providing access with double doors. To the right of the arch is a 16-pane sash window, and the central entrance consists of a door with two flush panels, four fielded panels, and a rectangular fanlight with double-width X tracery. The second floor windows are also 16-pane sashes, topped by a plain cornice and blocking course.
