2/7 Wilks monument in the churchyard approximately 9m south west of Church of St. Michael

GV II

Chest tomb dated 1815 and 1820. Grey sandstone. Reeded mouldings to base and side returns of end panels which contain a raised lozenge panel. Raised border to side inscription panels with quadrant corners. Heavy rounded mouldings to base and top which has pyramid weathering. Inscribed on south side to JANE wife of THOS WILKS, died 1815; on north side to THOS WILKS, died 1820.
