Description
The Golden Heart Inn is an inn built in the late 18th century, with a 20th-century addition at the back. It is constructed from random rubble limestone, featuring dressed stone window surrounds, an ashlar front porch, and a stone slate roof. The inn has an ashlar chimney with paired shafts, moulded caps, and strings. It is two stories tall with an attic and consists of two rooms with a central lobby entry and a front porch. The front has two windows with an entrance porch added in the 19th century. The windows are three-light recessed chamfered mullioned windows with hood mouldings, all fitted with 19th-century metal casements and plate glass. There are also two roof dormers with timber casements. At the back, there is a flat-roofed wing, and all windows in this section have timber casements.
