Description
The Wilton monument is an early 19th-century pedestal tomb located about 6 meters south-east of the chancel at the south-east angle of the Church of St. Christopher. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features an oval plaque on each side, with columns at the corners, a moulded base, and a ridged capstone topped with an urn finial. The west side of the monument has an inscription dedicated to T. Wilton, who died in 1822.
