Description
St. Christopher's is a house that may have been converted from a 17th or 18th century barn. It is built of rubble stone and features a thatched roof with end wall stacks. The building has one storey and an attic. There are two pairs of casement windows, a plank door with a tiled timber hood, and a pair of casement windows in a rebuilt squared stone wall to the right. The rear of the house has three large 19th century hipped casement dormers at the eaves, along with two pairs of casement windows, a door, and another casement pair on the ground floor. There is also a two-storey 19th century addition to the north-west. Inside, the house has a heavy timbered single purlin roof with tie-beam-and-collar trusses.
