Former wine merchants, now hairdressers and flat. Probably mid/late C19 with later alterations. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings; stone slate roof, hipped to right; brick stack to right. 2-storey 2-window range. Two 3-light chamfered stone mullion windows to first floor with single pane metal casements. Ground floor has early C20 timber shop front with 2 large plate glass windows with Tudor arched heads with carving in spandrels. Plate glass door to centre. Timber fascia and cornice. INTERIOR has clay paviors and brick vault to rear in basement; entirely C20 appearance to ground floor; first floor not inspected. Photograph displayed inside, probably early C20, shows ground floor with 3 doors and one 3-light chamfered stone-mullion window similar to those on first floor, all with relieving arches over. Included for group value.
