Description

This description covers a pair of Sealy memorials located about 3 meters west of the north west path, 5 meters from the path crossing in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. These chest tombs date from the early 19th century and commemorate William Sealy, who died in 1833, and John Sealy, who died in 1801. They are made of limestone and feature flat tops with inscription panels. The plain plinths support long sides that are divided into two smaller rectangles, with plain end panels. The side inscription panels are on the older chest. At the time of the survey, the tomb to the north was partially overgrown and its base was breaking up, while the tomb to the south was sinking significantly to the east and in the center.
