Home Farm

Home Farm is a detached house located in Bledington, with origins dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century, and later extensions from the late 18th to mid-19th century and the late 19th century. The early core of the building is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and sandstone, while the later sections are primarily of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The house features 20th-century ashlar stacks.

The early core has a gable end that projects forward on the right side. To the left, there is a late 18th to mid-19th century extension that is at right angles to the main structure, and a late 19th-century extension at the rear left. The early core is two storeys high with an attic, which is lit by a double-chamfered stone-mullioned garret window. The left extension includes a two-light roof dormer.

The facade has three windows, featuring two and three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned windows with stopped hoods in the early core, and three and four-light casements with leaded panes in the late 18th to mid-19th century extension. The central entrance is a two-panel 20th-century front door, which is sheltered by a flat stone canopy with a moulded margin, supported by stone brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
