Description
Hangerson House is a detached house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a slate roof and features ashlar stacks. The building has an 'L' shaped plan with a 19th-century extension on the rear left gable end. The garden front is symmetrical and consists of two storeys and an attic, which is illuminated by two 2-light roof dormers that have glazing bars. The facade has two windows, all of which are double-chamfered, 3-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods. There is a central 20th-century door that features Gothic glazing bars. The house has gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
