Description

Old Farmhouse is a detached house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with 19th-century extensions. It is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with a limestone slate roof and ashlar stacks. The building follows an 'L' shape, consisting of an early core with a 19th-century extension to the left, and another at a right angle to the rear right. The early core is two stories high, including two Cotswold dormers at the front. A single-story extension is located to the left, and a two-story extension rises to the rear right. The original core has a two-window front, featuring two- and three-light stone mullioned casements with stopped hoods and horizontal glazing bars. The left extension has two 20th-century casements. A stack rises from the right gable end of the early core, and another from the gable end of the rear right extension. The interior was not inspected.
