Description
Letter Box Cottage is an 18th-century cottage featuring a coursed squared limestone facade and limestone rubble. It has a thatched roof with two square ashlar gable end stacks. The cottage has a two-room plan with a single room depth. The facade is one storey and an attic, which is lit by two 3-light 18th-century casement windows with leaded lights. Other windows are 20th-century casements with leaded lights. There is a single light fire window in the gable end facing the road. The entrance is through a painted plank door, which is accessed by three steps and has a single pane positioned off centre to the left. The cottage also features three S-ended tie bars.
