Description

A pair of houses dating from approximately 1820 to 1850. The houses are built with an ashlar front and have tall brick end stacks. They are three storeys high, with four windows on the first floor. A service range extends to the rear of number 20. Giant Doric pilasters run through the ground and first floors, supporting a continuous frieze and cornice, with a further cornice above the third storey. The central entrances feature C20 six-panel doors with overlights, including margin lights where original. These are set within a shared doorcase with pairs of Tuscan pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The first floor has six-over-six sash windows, with some 1/1 sash windows. The ground floor features tripartite windows with six-over-six sashes between two-over-two sashes, and include floating cornices and aprons. The third floor is characterised by three-over-three sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
