Description

Randall's Cottage is a 17th-century detached cottage located on Bouncer's Lane in Prestbury. The building is timber-framed with painted brick infill and has a thatched roof with a brick stack. It has a rectangular plan and is 1½ storeys high, featuring a single eyebrow dormer facing Bouncer's Lane and a similar dormer on the opposite side, both with leaded casements. The ground floor has small 20th-century casements, mostly respecting the original timber framing; some have leaded panes while others have horizontal glazing bars. A weatherboarded lean-to provides access to the side of the cottage. An axial stack is present, with the roof hipped at one end. The interior remains uninspected.
