Pier, railings and garden wall. 1838. Ashlar pier with iron railings and pinkish-brown brick garden wall with ashlar copings. Pier has chamfered plinth, shaft with cusped decoration, chamfered band with trefoils in roundels and stepped pyramidal cap. Railings on plinth, approx 9m long: spearhead bars and dogbars. Wall approx 1.75m high and approx 9m in length. A significant streetscape feature to south of The Grange (qv) and an important element in its overall setting.
