Description

The Holt is a small house dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century additions. It features plastered rubble and cob walls and has a hipped thatched roof with a central axial brick stack. The building has a two-room plan, with each room heated by the central stack and a baffle entry located in front of it. At the rear, there are 19th-century outshuts. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with two windows, which are 20th-century three-light casements. There is a central 20th-century thatched roof porch with double plank doors behind it. The interior was inaccessible during the survey.
