Description
Eastpark Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with 19th and 20th-century additions. It features plastered rubble walls and a hipped thatch roof, with a brick stack at the left-hand end and a very large brick axial stack. The layout consists of a three-room and through passage plan, with the lower end to the left and the hall heated by the axial stack at the higher end. The exterior is two storeys high, presenting an asymmetrical front with four windows, which are early to mid-20th-century three and four-light casements. There is a 20th-century part-glazed door located to the left of centre, set behind an open-fronted gabled porch. At the rear, there is a 19th-century outshut to the left and a 20th-century lean-to to the right. The interior of only part of the ground floor is accessible; the two left-hand rooms feature chamfered cross beams, and the fireplaces are blocked. It is possible that early roof timbers may still be present.
