Description

No 1 Bedford Square, dating from around 1830, is a three-storey building with a Classical style. It features rounded corners and upper storeys that have an entablature supported by pilasters and engaged Ionic columns. The tall casement windows are adorned with moulded and eared architraves. This building either was designed by Foulston or shows his influence. It is part of a block located between Market Street and North Street at their southern ends.
