Description

The building at 23 Market Street, formerly known as Lydia Williams, likely dates to the 18th century or earlier, although it has undergone considerable alteration over time. It is a two-storey building with a plastered front. The first floor has three sash windows, lacking glazing bars, each framed by eared architraves and moulded keystones, with one keystone now missing. A later shopfront is present at ground level.
