Description
A range of farm buildings located 30 meters north of West Raddon Farmhouse, consisting of two bank barns that form the north side of the farmyard. The lower barn likely dates from the 18th century or earlier, while the higher barn is probably from the early 19th century. The lower barn is constructed of a mix of stone rubble and cob on a stone rubble plinth and has been largely rebuilt, featuring a gabled corrugated iron roof at the right end. The adjoining higher barn is made of stone rubble with a gabled slate roof at the left end. The lower barn includes two rear loft entrances, a ground floor entrance, and a loft entrance at the right gable end, along with a rectangular window on the front beneath a timber lintel. There is an additional entrance on the front at the left that also leads to the loft. The higher barn has an entrance on the front beneath a porch with a lean-to slate roof, and a 19th-century rear loft entrance situated between two 19th-century windows. This range of buildings is part of a well-preserved farmyard group.
