Description
The Dennaford headstone, located approximately 13 metres south of the church porch in Sampford Courtenay, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1714. It is made of slate and commemorates Richard Dennaford. The headstone features a somewhat worn, rounded top that is carved with a skull and crossbones, along with a rhyming epitaph below.
