Description

This headstone, located approximately 6 meters south of the east end of the Church of St. Denys in Stanford-in-the-Vale, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of limestone and features scrolled carving at the top, which is surrounded by a moulded entablature. Below this, there is an illegible inscription panel that is flanked by pilaster strips adorned with swags.
