Description

This headstone, located approximately 5 meters south of the east end of the Church of St. Denys in Stanford-in-the-Vale, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of limestone and features an illegible inscription, with a date that appears to be 170? at the base. The design includes a carved head in the center, flanked by acanthus scrolls and carved swags.
