Description

MEETH SS 50 NW 3/179 Outbuilding immediately to north- - west of Woolladan Farmhouse GV II Outbuilding which may originally have been a stable. C17, possibly 1666, contemporary with adjacent farmhouse (q.v.). Rubble and cob walls. Hipped corrugated iron roof. Plan: long rectangular plan in 2 sections originally although partition only partially survives. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical front with two C17 chamfered wooden doorframes to left of centre. Chamfered wooden 3-light mullion window to right on ground floor and 2-light wooden mullion window above left-hand doorway. Interior: between the 2 sections is a C17 wooden cranked head doorframe. Roof timbers replaced in C20.
