Description

Hele Bridge is a road bridge over the River Torridge, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features three arches, with the outer two being segmental and the central one round-headed. The bridge has two rounded cutwaters that rise into semi-hexagonal refuges, which are rusticated in the central section. Additionally, there is a cambered stringcourse and a parapet.
